Great News!
The new 2009 Lay Z Spa Premium series 4 person spa is now available to order.
As a special treat, the hot tub is available for an incredible £319+delivery. Some people are even eligible for an extra £10 on ordering. There is also a buy now, pay later option.
I think you will find that this price is even cheaper that what you could find the old 2008 series 2 model selling at.

The first new model will be a replacement of the 2008 4 person Lay-z spa. The spa will now be a really good blue colour and the biggest change will be Leatheroid top with zipper cover.

Some people are just too tight to spend £285 on a spa. Here are some of the crazy things they have done – don’t try any of this at home!
One of the most important considerations of running a spa is the cost to heat it. Electricity seems to get more expensive by the day so I thought that a discussion on how to heat your spa is needed.
My own personal spa – My electricity is on the Economy 7 tariff and so I try to use that whenever possible. I switch the heating on around midnight and manually turn off when I awake. The spa is set to 40C and will achieve that when I turn off. We would normally use the spa anytime after 4pm and in this unheated period the spa loses about 3C so it is around 37C. That’s still a very nice temperature and means our spa is running as cheaply as possible.
I will post up some electricity consumption detail next week.
