How long does it take to fill the Lazy-z spa?
It is quoted as 2 hours but it was nearly 3 hours for us.
How long does it take to heat up the Bestway Lay Z Spa?
It should take around 10 hours. The heater is capable of 1.5-2°C an hour, simliar to spas costing £1000's more. The max temperature is 40°C.
How long does it take to inflate the spa?
The spa has 5 inflatable sections. These can all be inflated in 10 mins total using the filter system that amazingly doubles as a pump.
What maintenance is required?
Bestway suggest that a soft damp sponge can be used to clean general dirt. The pump unit also filters the water - the filters should be checked checked and cleaned every 2 weeks replaced at least once per month. Filters cost around £25 for 12. What if the Spa gets a puncture?
A repair kit is included with the Spa just in case. It is made of tough materials though.
How many people will it hold?
The spa is for up to 4 adults.
How much does the Spa weigh?
On its own filled with water it weighs approx 900Kg
Can it be used indoors?
Yes but I would not recommend it. It weighs lots and the steam could cause problems.
How powerful are the jets?
They are powerful enough to massage the aches and stresses of the day away without being painful.
Can the Lay z Spa be used as a birth pool?
Well it was not built for that purpose so NO!.
How do I store it during winter?
Simply drain and deflate. All should go back into the box for storage. Make sure all is completely dry to avold any problems.
